Artificial Flavor

This project feels like as though as I'm making candy! The final project for IAT101: New Media Images is a Web Art project where we have to create a site that explores a certain theme. The assigned theme was 'loops' and so the colorful Fruit Loops cereal came to mind. Our idea involved looping a site through several color schemes to deliver a color changing experience.

I started off with a basic grey theme to contrast against the colorful and cheerful fruitty colors.


Then I moved on to the other colors. The colors were based of the various flavors from the cereal itself.






But what is a site to do without any content? So we got down to business and tried to figure out what to really put on the page. Photos of our star cereal, a photoshop tutorial on how to render one, a weird flash animation and a video pretty much summed it up. There's really not much to say, so just check out the website.
